What signs does a woman give off if she wants to take you to bed? Does her NON verbal communication say more than she does? Are there KEY things you are overlooking that signal she REALLY wants sex?

The fact is…..MOST men completely overlook the telltale signs of serious sexual interest:

She pouts with her lips….and makes sporadic eye contact (a dead giveaway)
Body POSTURE and positioning is critical (look for toes pointed outward….hips thrust forward)
She plays with HER hair….A LOT! (a nervous, subliminal sign of sexual desire)
She plays with YOUR hair…..even a little..:-) (okay…hopefully ALL of you pick up on this one)

Women have tell tale signs of sexual interest…and they are MUCH different from those of a man. If you miss them…the simple truth is that someone else is likely to pick them up…and then of course, pick her up as well!

Here is why understanding female body language is SO important when it comes to making love to a woman. (especially one you DON’T know too well)

Why? Women are inherently nonverbal creatures when it comes to sex…at least in the initial stages of a relationship. Missing out on the simple signs she’s trying communicate to you could be the difference between scoring BIG and striking out..:-) (believe it or not….most men will strike out OR come on so strong….that they blow the whole rapport to boot)

So understanding sexual sensitivity….AND subtlety is super important as well. (because you CAN’T be a “bull in a china shop” when it comes to interpreting sexual body language in a woman….OR your run the risk of turning her OFF completely) And picking up on the language of lust is NOT difficult either. If all else fails…..look for lots of fidgeting, a glimmer in the eye, touching her OWN breasts (lightly) and the way she “mirrors” your body in conversation. It doesn’t’ get ANY easier to read than that!

Are you trying to flirt using body language?

Do you have your eye on someone you’d LIKE to know better….but are afraid to make the first move? Are you just a shy, subtle or just super SMOOTH operator who wants to turn someone on without ever even saying a word? If this sounds like you…..learning to flirt with body language is CLEARLY a good path to pursue!

So what are the keys to expressing interest with subtle signs? Well……as you’ve probably read in some of our previous posts on flirting, and expressing sexual or romantic interest, there are a BUNCH of good ways to get across you’d like to know more, WITHOUT ever having to say a word!

Here is a good article we found on About.Com – that lists some simple steps to successful flirting with body language alone. Check it out at the link below….and then stop back and let us know what you think! (or areas you could use some more information here on the body language blog..:-) Have a GREAT weekend….and we’ll speak to you soon!

flirt Using Your EyesHolding eye contact with someone you find appealing for approximately five seconds is well-used flirt tactic, mostly because it is highly effective, although its ease and simplicity of use doesn’t hurt. According to the book, "The Definitive Guide of Body Language," by Alan and Barbara Pease, the person initiating the flirt will – on average – need to lock eyes three times before the flirt recipient catches on.Preening To FlirtThere are many, many ways one groom themselves in public in a flattering yet flirty way, depending on your gender.

Ladies can try some hair stroking, posture enhancing, neck exposing, hip tilting (if standing), clothes straightening or lip licking – all with the intention of calling attention to her attractiveness. Men can also straighten their clothing, lick their lips or fix their hair, but they should also include things like hooking their fingers into their pants (if standing), suck in their stomach, or take deep breaths to increase the size of their chest. For both men and women, try to use preening body language that shows off your best features while enhancing what makes you, you.

If you smile a bit more you will feel happier. If you sit up straight you will feel more energetic and in control. If you slow down your movements you’ll feel calmer. Your feelings will actually reinforce your new behaviours and feelings of weirdness will dissipate. In the beginning easy it’s to exaggerate your body language. You might sit with your legs almost ridiculously far apart or sit up straight in a tense pose all the time. That’s ok. And people aren’t looking as much as you think, they are worrying about their own problems. Just play around a bit, practice and monitor yourself to find a comfortable balance.1. Don’t cross your arms or legs – You have probably already heard you shouldn’t cross your arms as it might make you seem defensive or guarded.

Here is an interesting article on body language attraction we found from around the web. As we’ve been pointing out, 90% of the conversational cues you want to look for are NOT verbal at all. The key to really figuring out the art and science of sexy seduction is to keep your eyes on what they’re REALLY saying with their body language! Hopefully that point is starting to hit home..:-) Check out the full story at the link below!

If you are single and looking for love, here is a fact that might surprise you. Ninety percent of what you say to the people you meet is non-verbal. Very often we give clues and signals to those we are attracted to without even realizing it. In most cases, you are reading someone’s signals and forming a negative or positive impression without knowing why you are doing so.

Non-verbal signals, or what is known as body language, can have five times more of an effect on a person than the actual words you may speak. One of the most common types of body language is the smile. The smile is a universal sign of acceptance and happiness. A smile that reaches the eyes is a genuine smile that says you are welcome to come closer.Something else to look for is eye contact. Sometimes you can almost feel someone looking at you, or you catch it from the corner of your eye.

If someone you may find interesting is looking at you, turn towards him or her and lock eyes, but for only a few seconds. A direct stare lasting more than a few moments can be considered aggressive or hostile. Hold the contact for a few moments and then look down. Don’t forget to smile. If you can see someone looking at you from across the room look for other signs of interest. A person may gaze at you, look away, and then return their gaze to you again. They will probably have a slight smile on their face.

So What Exactly IS Body Language Anyway and WHAT Can it Tell Us About Others…..(and Ourselves?)

Body language proper (movements, gestures, and posture) CAN convey something about personality however. For example, when a person hunches her shoulders, drops her head, draws her chest inward and tenses her muscles, she is likely to be pessimistic of nature and full of discouragement, despondency, hatred, arrogance and jealousy.

A person who stands tall, with her weight evenly distributed and head held high, on the other hand, tends to be highly confident and to exhibit both physical and mental strength in finishing assigned tasks.

We WILL discuss the personality implications of posture in much greater detail throughout the book (and indeed, such an understanding is necessary to portray confidence through body language).

So Is It Like A Super-Hero Power?

Well – almost, but not quite. The practiced study of body language won’t give someone X-ray vision or the ability to fly, but to some extent it does equip us with the capability to read others’ minds.

That’s because a large portion of a person’s nonverbal cues are portrayed unconsciously. Without knowing she is doing so, a person gives off clues to what she is thinking or feeling which the body language expert can pick up, often before the person herself is aware of these
thoughts and feelings! (So it’s a little like “mind reading”, but not quite).

However, no matter how carefully she studies and practices kinesics, she should not expect to become a psychic. While kinesics consists of many scientific findings, and while it gives us access to MUCH MORE of a person’s intended communications than the untrained observer picks up, it can not tell us ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING a person is thinking, nor can it predict the future with 100% certainty.

A Quick Analogy…….

The study of body language is kind of like being a really good student of chess …if you know the board and the way all the pieces can move, you’ll also quickly realize that there are only a limited number of things your opponent could be up to, and you’re in a reasonably good position to predict her next move. And armed with this information…..you become a much more powerful interpreter of what your conversational companion is REALLY trying to say.

Pretty cool, don’t you agree?
